High temperature overflow printing and dyeing defoamer

High temperature overflow printing and dyeing defoamer

Defoamer for textile can workable at over 100℃?yes or no?

antifoam for textiles
Printing and dyeing process:
Raw cloth preparation → Singeing → Refining → Bleaching → Setting → Satinization → Dyeing and printing →Finishing.
Here will show INVELY-6200 which is workable over 100 with good performance.

Desizing

The main role of desizing: remove slurry as much as possible, creating favorable conditions for subsequent processing.
Common alkali desizing principle: The slurry swells under the action of hot alkaline solution, from the gel state to the sol state, and becomes loose with the fiber, which is easy to wash off. Foaming occurs more during desizing, and the application of defoaming agents is mainly concerned with the pH and temperature of the foaming environment. INVELY-6200 is recommended when the temperature is higher than 90 ° C.

 Dyeing

According to the temperature can be divided into: normal temperature dyeing (room temperature), medium temperature dyeing (60-100 ℃), high temperature dyeing (about 130 ℃). Dyeing equipment: dyeing tank, continuous pad dyeing car, high temperature and high pressure overflow dyeing tank, etc.
High-temperature dyeing, requirements for defoamers: long foam suppression time, good acid and alkali resistance, good dispersibility, can not cause silicon spots caused by precipitation. INVELY-6200 is well deserved.

 Finishing (after finishing)

Finishing mainly includes tentering, softening and pre-shrinking. Among them, the use of softeners / soft tablets will generate a lot of foam and the temperature is high. Here, defoamers are recommended to pay attention to the softener ion type. Most of the Sister products are anionic and nonionic products.

How to control foam and defoaming in the papermaking ?

Foam is always a thorny issue in the pulp&paper industry. Foaming reasons   Once liquid which contain a surfactant or this kind of liquid having a large viscosity is agitated, a large amount of foam which is not easily disappeared is often produced. The reasons why these bubbles are more stable and not easy to disappear are as follows: n   Film elasticity The ability of the liquid film to resist local thinning during the general thinning process is film elasticity. When the liquid film has a thin point, this point is a possible breakage. However, when this is further stretched, the surfactant molecules in this part will be more reduced, and the increase in surface tension will result in a force imbalance, and the surrounding surface will be moved toward a thin point to balance the surface. tension. The movement of the surface layer pulls the liquid of the lower layer together, thus preventing further thinning of the initial weakness and, in turn, foam ruptu...

Defoamer Test Method

Defoamer testing methods are divided into dynamic defoaming and static defoaming tests. If your foaming environment is different, the recommended test methods are different. There are three main types of foam experiments to characterize the activity of defoamers. Persistence. As we have different experimental conditions in different laboratories and the experiments used in our research to obtain results from existing literature, we will introduce these experiments below. Other methods are sometimes used depending on the particular application. 1. Ross-Miles Foam Tester   Features: Tested for strong foaming environments. This experiment is widely used for characterization        (1) Foaming of surfactant solution        (2) Research and application of foam stability in the presence of defoamer In the foaming system, the defoaming performance test was carried out by circulating bubbling by a Ros...

How to add defoamer in the production and when add?

Defoamer-the main function is to eliminate foam to inhibit foam regeneration. Defoamer can be widely used in all walks of life, but the body is small but the effect is fine. However, for those who do not know much about it and the first use of defoamers, there is a problem that bothers them, and when is the defoamer added? Is it added before use or when it comes to foam? Ok, Now Let's learn when and how to add defoamer. (The picture shows a serious foaming site) Most workers who use defoamers add defoamers when they produce foam. In fact, not only can you join when you are bubbling! We will use silicone defoamers as an example. Silicone defoamers have four conventional methods of addition: 1. Adding before foaming: This method can suppress the production of foam by previously adding an antifoaming agent to a system which may generate foam. For closed containers and devices, defoamers are effective in eliminating foam. 2. Continuous dropwise addition: When the foaming ...
